Observations from the Zoo

"Corn is an annual crop. Butcher's meat, a crop which requires four or five years to grow. As an acre of land, therefore, will produce a much smaller quantity of the one species of food than the other, the inferiority of the quantity must be compensated by the superiority of the price."

Spring break was fun. The snow, the slush, tent falling down three times plus the bungie corded snow chains made it an adventure. [By the way the oasis is in Lodi.] McGeorge was disappointing, but I'm not ruling it out completely. Berkeley was facinating. Haight Ashbury was incredibly cool. D and I discovered clothing shops that we could not have dreamed into existence. And I found out the name of the bookstore that we should have gone to after we got back: City Lights.
